Mutton Haleem Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 kg mutton, boneless
1 cup broken wheat
1 cup chana dal
1 cup moong dal
1 cup urad dal
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
3 onions, sliced
3 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp garam masala
Salt to taste
1 cup ghee
2 cups water
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Fried onions for garnishing
Lemon wedges for garnishing
Instructions:
Soak broken wheat, chana dal, moong dal, and urad dal in water for 2 hours.
In a pressure cooker, add the soaked wheat and dal along with mutton, ginger-garlic paste, sliced onions, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and ghee.
Add 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 1 hour or until the mutton is tender.
Open the pressure cooker and mix the contents until they are well combined.
Use a hand blender to blend the mixture until it is smooth.
Garnish with coriander leaves, fried onions, and lemon wedges.
